European Medical Tourism Delayed Because of Airline Blackouts from Volcano Eruption

Industry News

Most major Airports in Europe recently cancelled all flights because of the recent eruption of a major Volcano in Iceland which has caused a cloud to cross into Europe and cancel all flights because of the danger of it affecting airplane engines. This is the second time in a month that the volcano has erupted and that the volcanic activity is increasing and it can possibly last for several weeks especially if the volcano re-erupts.

This will not only affect medical tourists traveling for care but also any medical tourism conferences in the region. Modern Europe has not experienced something like this that severely affects travel.
