Las Vegas actually has several great healthcare facilities, the issue is, it is simply not what they are known for. Industry officials are making moves to change this perception and put their city on the map for healthcare.

It’s unlikely Las Vegas will become a transplant or cancer treatment capital but the Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition says the city leads the nation in some of those other specialties.
