Medical Tourism Association Expands Globally

Industry News

The President of the Medical Tourism Association announces the opening of two new representative offices in Brazil and Germany, which are in line with ongoing expansion strategies of the association. The current expansion will give opportunities to Latin America and Europe based government and private business bodies to get assistance from the association to develop Medical Tourism Strategies within their country.

These new offices are to join the already existing offices of the MTA located all across the globe in South Korea, Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Turkey, Argentina and the headquarters located in the United States.

We have been providing educational workshops around the world to bring governments and stakeholders together to make informed decisions on medical tourism programs. The opening of our Germany and Brazil offices will allow our Regional Representatives the ability to work collaboratively with the MTA to develop these programs in Latin American and Europe as a whole, says Ms. Renée-Marie Stephano, President of the Medical Tourism Association.

This is an exciting time for medical tourism industry, as the industry is growing rapidly within several geographies; hence the Medical Tourism Association looks forward to the expansion of strategies and services to develop enhanced global educational platforms, added Ms. Stephano, who is also Chief Editor of the leading Medical Tourism Magazine.

The two new representative offices will be: one in Brazil, well-recognized for its beauty and cosmetic excellence and another in Germany, where medical perfection and wellbeing are the name of the game.

The new offices in Brazil and Germany will serve as launch points for the medical tourism sector and will work closely with both US health insurers and medical tourism facilitators to promote their destinations for patients seeking to travel for a high level of quality care at a much lower cost.

Medical Tourism Association is the world's largest and respected Association for rapidly growing education in the Medical Tourism Industry. Regional Officers have been appointed to identify and effectuate several of these educational workshops each year in their region so groups with unified interests may share ideas and create a platform for their collaboration.

The Medical Tourism Association is made up of the top international hospitals, healthcare providers, medical tourism facilitators, insurance companies, and other affiliated companies and members with the common goal of promoting the highest level of quality of healthcare to patients in a global environment. The Association promotes the interests of its healthcare provider and medical tourism facilitators members. The Medical Tourism Association has three tenets: Transparency, Communication and Education.

The association is also hosting its 3rd edition of the World's largest Medical Tourism Congress in September in LA, which is also the official event of the world's leading Medical Tourism Magazine.
