Each aircraft has a flight crew of two, a flight nurse and flight paramedic, an FAA-approved reclining medical bed, seating for one or two family members and baggage, and a lavatory. A fast aircraft minimizes the patient's time en route.

International Life Flight operates from its headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA. Their principals have conducted about40,000 air ambulance missions.
