It is with great anticipation that I look forward to participating in the fast approaching 4th World Medical Tourism and Global Healthcare Congress, which will take place on October 25th – 28th in Chicago. I will be moderating the main medical tourism track on Wednesday, Oct 26th 2011. Please click here to read my full biography.
With the cataclysmic economic tsunami impacting patients, employers, employees, insurers and governments worldwide, the role of medical travel in providing affordable, accessible and timely healthcare to patients around the globe that is safe and of high quality has never been more critical. The Congress will provide an opportunity to understand how medical travel can accelerate continued advances in transparency for cost, quality and outcome indices in making decisions about care. In addition, it will address topics such as how to stimulate innovation leading to better care as well as ways to standardize best practices.
I look forward to catching up with many friends and fellow colleagues as well as meeting new ones at this exciting and timely conference.
See you in Chicago in October!
Kind regards,
Karen Timmons
