Who is Dolomiti Dental Clinic, and where are you based?
We are a network of dental practices across Northern Italy, focused on implant and aesthetic dentistry for both Italian and international patients. Our clinical team is led by two oral surgeons, Dr. Alvise Camurri Piloni and Dr. Nicolò Camurri Piloni, who specialize in zygomatic implants and digital implantology — the same advanced implant work that underpins the full-arch cases described below.
Dr. Alvise Camurri Piloni holds a DDS, an MSc in oral surgery, postgraduate diplomas in sedation and in adhesive prosthodontics, and a PhD in nanotechnology. Dr. Nicolò Camurri Piloni holds a DDS, an MSc in oral surgery, postgraduate diplomas in zygomatic implants and digital implantology and in adhesive prosthodontics, and is completing a PhD in personalized medicine. Both are affiliated with the University of Trieste.
Our locations are chosen so that treatment and travel fit together:

A patient can have a complex procedure in the morning and recover with the Dolomites or the Venetian lagoon outside the window. All of our facilities hold Italian health authorization (autorizzazione sanitaria) and operate under Italy’s national health regulations and the wider European Union healthcare framework — meaning every clinic meets the same regulatory and patient-safety standards required of any medical facility in Italy.
Who do you treat from abroad, and in what languages?
We’ve built an established international practice — we treat around 150 international patients a year — and we’re now actively expanding to welcome patients from across Europe and North America. That track record matters: a clinic already used to coordinating treatment, travel, and follow-up across borders (today that includes many patients from neighboring countries such as Germany and Austria) is a very different proposition from one seeing its first overseas patient.
Care for international patients is handled in Italian, English, German, and Spanish, so patients go through diagnosis, planning, and consent in their own language.
For patients traveling from the United States or elsewhere in Europe, the number of trips is often the real obstacle, and this is where our same-day protocols change the math: because we deliver fixed teeth on the day of surgery, many treatments that would normally require several visits over months can be completed in a single trip to Italy — typically a stay of two to four days, after which the patient flies home with fixed teeth already in place.
What is the one thing that sets your treatment apart?
Same-day fixed teeth. In selected implant cases, a patient can leave with a fixed, functional set of teeth roughly three hours after surgery begins — and is never without teeth at any point in the process.
This is possible because of how far ahead we plan. Using guided and computer-navigated surgery together with in-house 3D printing, we map every stage of the procedure before the patient is in the chair and prepare the prosthesis in advance. The result is shorter surgery, less invasiveness, and no waiting period without teeth. We are also preparing to introduce robotic-assisted implant surgery, which will add a further layer of precision to this workflow.
We apply the same “see it first” logic to aesthetics. For veneers, we show patients a preview of the final shape, color, and proportion before any treatment starts, then produce and fit the veneers within 24 hours of that approval.
Our restorations are built from proven materials — titanium, zirconia, and lithium disilicate — and our implants come from a leading Italian manufacturer recognized internationally for its quality. We stand behind this work with a guarantee on our implants and prosthetics, valid as long as the patient keeps up documented periodic check-ups. Can you share an example of a real case?
Two anonymized cases show the range.
An aesthetic veneer case. A patient wanted a more confident smile that still looked natural rather than obviously “done.” We previewed the proposed result with her, adjusted it to her preferences, then placed the veneers over two appointments during a single two-to-four-day stay. She left with the smile she had approved in the preview.

A full-arch case (All-on-6). A patient with extensive dental problems needed a fixed, long-term solution and was anxious about being left without teeth during treatment. After a full clinical assessment, we planned an All-on-6 rehabilitation and prepared the prosthesis in advance. He received fixed teeth immediately after surgery — and, rather than going home with only a temporary, was fitted with his definitive prosthesis within the same single two-to-four-day stay, completing the treatment in one trip to Italy with no need to return months later. Depending on the option the patient selects, that definitive prosthesis is made in either metal-composite or zirconia.
What do international patients get beyond the dental work itself?
Every international patient is looked after by a dedicated coordinator who manages the trip from start to finish. We arrange airport transfers in both directions and accommodation through partner hotels, so arrival, treatment, and departure run smoothly without the patient having to piece the logistics together alone. On request, we also organize trips and experiences in the area — the Dolomites near Brunico, Belluno, and Dobbiaco; Venice and Verona from Mirano and Portogruaro; the beach at Jesolo — so a treatment visit can double as a short stay in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy.
